The Insulated 40’HC container is a former refrigerated container with non-working or dismantled motor. Its excellent thermal properties make it ideal for year-round use without condensation issues. With an installed AC unit, it can provide cooler air, down to 60 degrees. Constructed with aluminum exterior paneling and high-density lightweight polyurethane foam wall construction, along with stainless steel interior walls and ceilings, this container is designed for durability. The aluminum T-rail flooring facilitates easy cleaning and ensures that water does not accumulate on the floor; instead, it drains out through water outlets adjacent to the doors and corners. This 40-foot-long container is a high cube, meaning its exterior measures 9’6″ tall (compared to standard height, 8’6″), and has a pair of cargo swing doors on one end. The ex-reefer is equipped with a minimum of R30 grade insulation, providing superior thermal efficiency and further enhancing its suitability for a variety of applications.
