The driver will back into the area, tilt the trailer, and slide it into place as he pulls forward. This is why we ask for a certain amount of straight-line clearance on behalf of the customer&#8217;s desired drop space when delivering.&nbsp;(<strong>Eighty feet of clearance for 10&#8242; or 20&#8242; container; 120 feet for a 40&#8242;<\/strong>.)<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Will_you_move_my_container\"><\/span>Will you move my&nbsp;container?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We can! We just ask that the container is emptied prior to move. Due to the logistics of heavy freight, please note the following location restrictions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We\u00a0<strong>cannot<\/strong>\u00a0deliver shipping containers to P.O. Boxes or APO\/FPO addresses.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Delivery must be made to a physical, accessible street address.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Deliveries to remote, extremely rural, or restricted-access areas must be cleared with our logistics team prior to delivery. If a truck cannot physically access your site, we will contact you to find an alternative drop-off location.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"ccs-preparation\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"4_Delivery_Method_Site_Preparation\"><\/span>4. Delivery Method &amp; Site Preparation<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Shipping containers are delivered using heavy-duty commercial trucks (usually a tilt-bed or flatbed roll-off trailer). It is the customer&#8217;s responsibility to ensure the delivery site is prepared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Clearance:<\/strong>\u00a0You must have adequate height, width, and turning clearance for a commercial semi-truck.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Ground Surface:<\/strong>\u00a0The delivery surface must be firm, level, and dry (e.g., concrete, asphalt, gravel, or packed dirt). Delivery drivers reserve the right to refuse delivery if the ground is soft, muddy, or unsafe.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Presence Required:<\/strong>\u00a0An adult (18 years or older) must be present at the time of delivery to sign the Bill of Lading and direct the driver where to place the container.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"ccs-damages\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"5_Damages_Inspections_and_Risk_of_Loss\"><\/span>5. Damages, Inspections, and Risk of Loss<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Under Illinois law (UCC \u00a7 2-509) and our standard policy, the risk of loss passes to you once the container is successfully delivered to your location.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>You must inspect the container immediately upon arrival.<\/strong>&nbsp;While containers are industrial products and used containers will have standard wear, tear, and rust, you must check for severe structural damage caused during transit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If severe transit damage is present,\u00a0<strong>note it clearly on the driver&#8217;s delivery receipt (Bill of Lading)<\/strong>\u00a0before signing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Take clear photographs of the damage while the truck is still on site.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contact us immediately at\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:info@cargocontainersupply.com\">sales@primecodedcontainer.shop<\/a>\u00a0to report the issue.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"6_Delays_Force_Majeure\"><\/span>6. Delays &amp; Force Majeure<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While we maintain a strict 5-7 day delivery schedule, certain events outside our control (severe weather, natural disasters, highway closures, or labor strikes) may cause unavoidable delays. In the event of a delay, our logistics team will proactively contact you to provide a revised delivery estimate, in compliance with the Illinois Consumer Fraud and Deceptive Business Practices Act.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Prior to delivery, we ask for a few things from you to make sure things run smoothly:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Adequate&nbsp;notice<br><\/strong>We&#8217;re experiencing both a shortage in containers and number of drivers, so if you would like a container delivered by a certain date, we ask that you provide adequate notice. At the moment, our current delivery estimate for purchases is 2 to 4 weeks, and, for rentals, it is about 1 to 3 weeks.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Adequate clearance<br><\/strong>For a&nbsp;<strong>20&#8242; container<\/strong>, we suggest about&nbsp;<strong>80 feet of straight-line clearance<\/strong>&nbsp;so that driver has enough space to pull out from underneath the container.&nbsp;But, for a&nbsp;<strong>40&#8242; unit<\/strong>, we suggest at least&nbsp;<strong>120 feet of straight-line clearance<\/strong>. For overhead, about 14 should be OK. While our experienced drivers will do their best to safely position your container as close as possible to your desired location, please note that tilt-bed deliveries have limitations. For precise placement\u2014especially in tight or specific spots\u2014a forklift or crane may be necessary. Exact placement is never gauranteed, we apprecaite your flexiblity in this area.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Patience<br><\/strong>We&#8217;ll get you your delivery, but we ask for patience. On top of worldwide supply-chain issues, we&#8217;re also experiencing a shortage of drivers.
